Penja pepper is one of the grands crus. Cultivated in Cameroon, it is recognized as a Protected Geographical Indication. White pepper is milder than black pepper, but it’s not entirely devoid of spiciness. Its flavor is woody, full-bodied, but subtle. It delicately scents fish, poultry and vegetables. It is a pepper that has its place in the mill on your table.
